Iron Chef and the usual Blah Blah

hey blog readers! here's my latest attempt at cooking. Personally, I think I'm getting past the Ramen and Oat Meal deal, I'm getting into more delicious things like, Lasagna, spaghetti, Fish, chicken, and stuff like that, I kind of wanna  make more Delicious things, but we don't have many ingredients, but that won't stop me on my quest for cooking!

so here's the stuff i made, still in the pan,

this was DELICIOUS! no lies! here's the finished product:

 Doesn't that just look absolutely  DELICIOUS?  its called  Alfredo Broccoli, and it turned out great! sadly I didn't  have enough for everyone, but my little buddy here had some, here's him scrapping for food on the ground:

      well, you can't see him well, he was moving fast,  and I had to edit it a bit so you could see it better. since you cant really see that one, Here's a cuter one of his face!

well anyways,  my dad and my brother started  garden, it's mostly covered in weeds, but things are still growing good! sadly, the watermelons died, but we got amazing squash and tomatoes! so far we had about 4 squash, and dad says around 20 tomatoes! isn't that just awesome? mom made this awesome dish of rice, squash, a lot of tomatoes, and CHEESE!! here's a picture of what we got from the garden today!

Ha! doesn't that squash look gross? dad says it has character... :P good thing I don't like to eat them, I wouldn't want to anyways!

My week started on Tuesday, activity day, and before young women's, we went to my dads-best-friends-dads funeral....long connection right? oh well I mooched a cupcake from the refreshments table, and a bottle of water... but it was worth it. after see people x4 my age chat for an hour, I went to my church activity, we  were planing a big event on the 16th next month, then we played church ball in the gym with the young men (Jared had a box o.O)  and one of my biggest competitors from school was there... and who brought him? my cousin. after the game, my cousin and his friend thought it would be funny to pelt me with dodge balls, but i sure slapped them into place, especially when I told my Aunt!

so that was Tuesday. now zoom to SUNDAAYY!! (ever notice how my highlights of the week are church related?) well it was FUDGE SUNDAY! and John had asked me if I could get him a piece since the relief society women like to share with the young women. so Sara and I devised a plan: I go into the bathroom and grab a paper towel, and grab 3 pieces of fudge. I ate one during class, and put the other two in my paper towel, and hid them away until after class.
   I was talking to Emma and Sara and John was at the other side of the hall, using his new laser pointer on Emma's hair, so we walked over and i took out my fudge storage, and ate one right in front of him. he saw the other one and tried to grab it, but I held on and he ended up dragging me through the whole building, and ripping part of the paper towel, he threw it on the ground, I put it in his shirt collar. then we had to go home :( so i gave him the fudge as we were walking out :P

story of Sunday class? OKAY! Will came in with a cast on his leg (NEON ORANGE!!) and a walker, and we didn't really have a teacher, so Austin, Jared, John, Sara, Will, Peter, and I (Nathan, Emma, Fadi, and the other Jared stayed.) went outsidebecause it was SOOO cold in the classroom, and we decided to have slow races with Will, he was really bad at using the walker! :P
after about 5 minutes of that, our teacher found us, and we had to go back to class :P

then during young womens class, my teacher there  is pretty much a professional photographer, so she makes all these awesome cards for us, we have about 5 now, and me and Emma were thinking of Mor-mon cards, like Poke-mon cards, only we have our lessons printed on them, and we decided, whoever has the most by the end of the year gets something special, I think its an awesome game so far!

THIS WEEKS POST!

hahaha sorry for the wait Ms. Amanda!  you know everyone is asking when your gonna visit?when u do it'll give u time o help with this mess of a blog!

anyways! my week pretty much started on Tuesday, YOUNG WOMEN'S DAY! haha, well sadly the 11mile bike ride was canceled due to weather :( buuuut! we went to our Leaders house, Sister O. , and we watched Tangled and me and Emily of course made a few more inside jokes... RELEASE THE KRACKEN! ha ha! and Sara, my gosh! she made the most wonderful treat! it was super gooey rice crispeys, with CHOCOLATE and i think peanuts? whatever, I don't care what was in them, they were GOOD!

and all during the movie, me and Emily were breaking open the twizlers, licorice, and CHOCOLATE! Excuse the huge font :D

and after the movie, as the last one to arrive, me and Emily were the last ones to leave! mostly because our rides were delayed.... but oh well! it was fun talking with the leaders afterwards.

pretty much nothing happened Wednesday-Friday, but on Saturday night, after it was just me and mom at home, we ordered from Pizza Hut, and found out we cant pay with a check, and we didn't know, and the pizza was already here. we had no way of paying, because my dad was out of town with the debit card, and obviously we had no cash, so they made a deal with us, we take the pizza, the employee give the check to the boss and they figure it out :P

then SUNDAAAYYY!!! hahaha I love going to church, no lie! the people are awesome! like today, Sara brought a book because we might not have a teacher that day, so she was opening to random pages and looking at the chapter titles, and one of them was "Boobs over Brains" hahaha i want this book soo badly, its hilarious, and we were making jokes about other chapter titles, and John comes over and asks us what we cant stop laughing about, and Sara opens back up the the "Boobs over Brains" page and shows it to him, and she told him its my favourite chapter name, he says " sorry meg, i prefer brains" then he realized what he said wrong, because we were laughing soo uncontrollably, I pretty sure he means something else because of the look on his face, but my gosh it was soo funny, how could you NOT laugh at something like that?gosh I love church!
after church was over, mom had choir, so i had to go home with Sam and Cody, and guess what! SAM DIDN'T HAVE HER KEYS! we were locked out, so we decided to go to Mc Donalds, i got a big mac :D  once we were done, Cody had the idea of breaking into our own house, ha! it worked. so we are safe from the heat advisory! yaaay!

Our large 4th of July CELEBRATION

SUNDAY: we went to church like the good Mormon family we are, and there was only 5 young women in my class day, later when we were heading out of the church, one of the ladies there reminded us: PANCAKE BREAKFAST ON MONDAY!!! 


MONDAY: I woke up at 7:00a.m and got dressed in my OPERATION HOME FRONT tee and my jeans (once mom saw me in them she declared I'm not allowed to date until I'm 20 :P) .
When we got to the church for the breakfast, I didn't realize how many people left for vacation! the entire gym was EMPTY!! that's pretty rare especially with the biggest families of the ward, 
MONDAY  NOON: dad got a phone call,I heard some laughter, so I asked him whats up, he said that the Farnsworths were coming!
ABOUT 30 mins after cleaning: The Farnsworths were here, Dana(Father) Ann(Mother) Scott(son) Austin(friend) John(son) Peter(son) Samuel(youngest son) Karen(youngest daughter), and guess what they brought 2 WATERMELONS, GUACAMOLE, and to go with it, CHIPS!!!  and Sam and Cody bought what? nothing less than amazing, as usual, they got a triangular shaped box of awesome! (details later)
while we waited for the sky to darken, we went on bike rides, meaning John stole my bike, and Josh rode around the block with him, and after that, we played zombie, John was it, because we did "Nose Goes!" rules, and he didn't catch on fast enough, but Austin, Scott, Peter, the 2 little ones, and I sat waiting, with our fingers on our noses until they came back from the bike ride, best part? Neighbors across the street saw us and joined in (but they didn't actually play)! everyone ran behind the house, because there's a small street behind it, and I picked up Karen and ran behind the neighbors house, but we got found fast, I couldn't carry her, so I was tagged as a Zombie, and had to get the remaining people, so i rode my bike (I got it baaaack!) and i fell off it trying to do a sharp turn, so they could figure that I just learned just recently (don't judge me, my dad was never around much) and when we finished, we went inside the house and watched WIPEOUT!!!!!! best show ever, and we guessed who would win, and HECK YES! we guessed right!!
afterwards, we sat outside the house watching my neighbors wasting fireworks in the light, one of their fireworks went out of control and got under someones chair, but it was just a spinner.
when we decided it wasn't getting dark fast enough, we went inside and played Poker (yes, but we weren't playing for actual money, it was pretty fun!) Samuel won a freaking lot of chips! SAMUEL!! hes 10!!!  after about 2 or 3 games of poker, it was FINALLY time for *FIREWORKS* soo the Farnsworth kids and Austin sat in the back of the truck while my brother, Cody and I set off some fireworks, and then it was time for the biggest firework, it was a show in a box! and I have to say, we beat the neighbors display by LOTS!! so after that, it was bout 11p.m, and we played several more rounds of poker, then the Farnsworths had to go :( Cody stayed, so did his lil bro, and Sam, Josh and them played poker until 12, then we all played wii bowling. we got tired of it easily, so after Cody left, I played a lil bit of wii tennis, then fell asleep.


TUESDAY 7:00: I went to church for my young womens activity, remember how I said there was only 5 of us at church on Sunday? well there was only 2 of us, but some of the young men (including 1 of the Farnsworths :P) came out to do our activity, which was Chalk Murals , we drew super Mormons, calk outlines of DEATH (obviously we're cool like that), and te best part? we completely surrounded Emily's dad's car with chalk writing, like a track to get to it (all the way around the parking lot cuz we're awesome like that), bio-hazard signs everywhere, the creeper from MineCraft , and [enter surname here] MOBILE  with arrows pointing to the bumper, and the doors are numbered:
Driver: door 3 (? i dunno John did it)
back left door: door 1
back right door: door 4 
passenger door: door 5
yup, no door 2, but they did have 2 mufflers, and the red paint was actually purple according to my brother. 
so after all that, Emily had drawn " A TREE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YAAARRD" in her sunset mural, (inside joke :) ) and dad picked us up, we picked up Sam from work, and she bought us sundaes.

De Chartes

OH MY GOSHNESS! Soo much fun! I met up with Amanda my sister, and my best friend (theres two Amandas) AND I met this amazing group of people, Leif, James, Jaren, Rosie, Eric, Clair, Abby, and Hope, (I think that's how you spell their names...) So Amanda (not my sister) and all them were my go to people for the weekend, but UNFORTUNATELY I wasn't there on Saturday, but my AMAZING group of people made sure to make it up when i told them.  well, Abby Hope and Clair weren't there until later, but the rest of us played games inside the fort like, BlackBear,  and later when we got bored  so I suggested Dark Alley, which has no point of it, except hurting people, so when it was  Niko's turn to go through the "alley" he fell mover because James is a really tall and muscular guy and he hit Niko a little too hard, and Niko was on the ground and Leif comes up to me and says in his fake British accent,"How did a beached whale get so far from the shore?" I thought that was the  most hilarious thing  I've heard that day.Now I'm going back in time  to earlier Friday , Amanda, Leif, James, and I were walking around the fort and when we stopped by the little church, there was a bell, and i had just drank my water bottle, Leif took my bottle and twisted it until the cap popped off and hit the bell. after that we went inside the church  and Amanda took my water bottle and put it under the finger-guillotine , then Leif put it in what we now call the holy water plate. Now speeding up to the graduation, CONGRATULATIONS SAMMY! Me and Cody (Sam's fiance) were commenting on peoples last names, and I couldn't believe how horrible some peoples last names could be... then when we got back to the fort, I found out from Clair Abby and Hope that Leif was being restricted for the rest of the weekend because he was flirting with us, and when his mom was punishing him, he accidentally backhanded a kid and somehow his brother Eric couldn't hangout with us either (which made Amanda sad ) this made me mad for 2 reasons,

1. I was really looking forward to dance with Leif at the dance,
2. HIS MOM CALLED US SLUTS!!!

NO seriously!! she was saying "You shouldn't be just, THROWING yourself at my boys, just imagine where you'll be in a few years if you keep this up!"   SHE CALLED US SLUTS!!!???!!!?!?!!


ugh.... so the next camping event wont be until SEPTEMBER!??!!  well I cant wait, it wont be as hot, because it was at 106F at it highest at De Chartes.

Iron Chef?

OK!! first blog? I think SO! Okay I'm trying to cook, so I made Tomato Parmesan, let me tell you, I would have posted pictures, TRUST ME! I had them! only problem was, the camera wouldn't work enough to let me upload them :( but when I find out how I can, or when i make it again, I WILL post those pictures!

So until then, I will talk about my Psycho Squirrel, Mr Cheeks!

I was playing with the Lil booger today, and I put him on the couch, so he ran down my leg so I stuck it outward, he had spotted my dinner plate and jumped on it, and it knocked onto the floor, don't worry; it was mostly empty, and after he had dumped it on the floor, he jumped off my leg and headed for his cage and climbed into his sleeping tube. I go and get a paper towel, pull him out from his cage and set him on top of it and taunted him with the paper towel, he grabs hold of it and pulls it in, gathering most of it in his mouth, No I didn't try to take it away, so he climbed back into his cage and set the crumpled paper towel on his hammock and then quickly began to stuff it in his tube with him, once they were both inside the tube, he mushed it to his liking, then fell asleep. Now for an almost 1 year old squirrel that has brain damage, he is a smart Lil Booger!!
